Our Commitment
HAMR Ltd, trading as Covered, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our platform in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
We believe that every user -- regardless of ability, device, or circumstance -- should be able to navigate, understand, and interact with Covered effectively.
Conformance Status
We are currently working toward full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. Our efforts include:
- Semantic HTML throughout the application, using appropriate headings, landmarks, and ARIA attributes.
- Keyboard-navigable interface -- all core functionality can be accessed without a mouse.
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios across text, buttons, and interactive elements.
- Form labels and error messages that are programmatically associated with their inputs.
- Responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%.
- Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, we are aware of the following limitations that we are actively working to resolve:
- Floor plan editor: The drag-and-drop floor plan canvas relies on pointer interactions that may present challenges for keyboard-only or screen-reader users. We are investigating accessible alternatives and plan to provide a list-based editing mode.
- Third-party embedded content: Some integrations (payment forms, messaging widgets) are rendered by third-party providers and may not fully conform to WCAG 2.2 AA. We work with our providers to encourage improvements.
- PDF exports: Generated PDF reports may not yet be fully tagged for assistive technology. We intend to add structured tagging in a future release.

When reporting an issue, please include the page URL, a description of the problem, the assistive technology and browser you are using, and any screenshots if possible. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and provide an estimated resolution timeline within 10 business days.
Compatibility
Covered is designed to be compatible with modern browsers and assistive technologies including screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS), voice recognition software, and screen magnification tools. We recommend using the latest stable version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge for the best experience.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We conduct periodic audits of our platform, incorporate accessibility testing into our development process, and train our team on inclusive design principles. We are committed to continuously improving the accessibility of Covered for all users.
